Our Worship Team

Worship music is a significant part of many church services. Whether it is singing from a hymnal, listening to a choir, or blending voices with the accompaniment of a band or orchestra, music can create an environment in which worshippers may meditate and joyfully praise the Lord. The Scriptures often tell of the Israelites praising and worshipping God through singing and the playing of instruments such as the lyre and tambourines.

The hope of the worship team at RBC is to encourage the spirit of worship through music, and to serve the Lord and our church community by using the gifts and talents God has given us. We attempt to nurture a sense of fellowship and trust within our team. The team often prays for sincere worship from the heart even during our practice sessions. We do our best to bring glory to God by inviting the church community to join us as we come into His presence on Sunday morning.

We encourage growth in our gifts and musical abilities, and we welcome those from our congregation who express a passion to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in this special way.

If you might be interested in participating on the worship team, contact us at the church (617-266-3633; office@rugglesbaptistchurch.org. The team usually rehearses on Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30, and arrives early on Sunday mornings at 8:30 to prepare for the service.
