Sharing Our Facilities

Because we are located in an urban environment and we have a building, there are opportunities to share our facilities with other congregations in need of a place to meet for worship and discipleship. Currently there are 7 other churches using the Ruggles Baptist Church building at various times throughout the week. We are happy to partner with other wonderful churches in reaching the Kenmore Square/Fenway/Back Bay area for Christ!

Worship service is Saturdays at 11 AM on the second floor (at Beacon Street entrance).

The olive tree in the Bible represents Israel, the people of God. In the New Covenant we are taught that Gentiles who come to faith in Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, are wild olive branches grafted in to the natural Olive Tree. In that honored place they share the richness of the olive tree. But they are strongly warned to be modest and humble, and not arrogant to the natural branches, the Jewish people.

Rev. Mark Booker

617.238.0674

Sunday worship services at 4:30 PM in the sanctuary.

We are a missional family that is committed to living out the vision and values of the kingdom of God in the city of Boston. In this way, we participate with God in his redemption of the world, a world that we all experience as both very good and very broken. Our hope does not rest in our own strength or ingenuity, but upon the love, mercy, and grace of God which we come to see most clearly through the good news of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Through this good news, God literally transforms lives and communities, bringing about reconciliation and leading us to follow Jesus on the way of the cross – the way of self-giving, sacrificial love. While walking on this way of the cross, we share life together and we gather regularly to worship God, to study the Bible, and to serve each other and our city.

We welcome all, whether long-time churchgoers or those who are just beginning to investigate the person of Jesus. We seek to be a place where people – from whatever background – can engage questions about life, the world, and God.
