In September, 1999, the Ruggles community committed to reaching the Shan people for Christ. Here is our formal commitment statement:
We the people of Ruggles Baptist church, covenant with one another and with the Lord to adopt the Shan People from the Shan state of Burma, as our spiritual responsibility to be agents in the preaching [...]

With a passion for following the Biblical command to put our faith into action, Ruggles Baptist Church seeks to provide youth with the chance to bond with each other and to serve together.  We offer our teens an annual hands-on opportunity to get out of the Boston area and serve others, which helps to supplement our rich weekly junior church classes.
